Mission Statement
The CNHSOU intends to provide a well managed, highly skilled team response to critical incidents that threaten the lives of police officers and citizens.
Critical Incidents
A critical incident does not necessarily involve the potential for violence. A critical incident is any situation that threatens the life of an officer or citizen and exceeds the capacity of any single department. Situations like these require teamwork for a safe, swift resolution. The CNHSOU provides that cooperative, team-oriented environment by combining the capabilities of many single departments into a regional team.
